We’re a husband-and-wife team based in Oakland, California — lifelong coffee lovers who, with plenty of hesitation, stepped into the world of decaf during pregnancy. What began as a temporary, involuntary switch quickly became a passion and commitment.

It was challenging to find decaf that actually tasted good. And we thought: why shouldn’t decaf be just as good as the rest?

So we started roasting our own — determined to craft decaf with intention, care, and zero compromise. Today, we’re proud to share our roasts more broadly, so anyone can enjoy coffee every day, at any time of day, and feel great doing it.

We source and roast only the highest-quality beans and offer a variety of coffees that undergo different decaffeination methods — each one preserving the bean’s full character and flavor.
